THE LONDON BOMBINGS

We heard about the London bombings this morning here in Japan. We took the news very hard. I personally remember all too clearly how I felt the morning of 9-11 and KNOW the pain of the people in London...we all do. And we realize that every moment people in Iraq are being terrorized and victimized by the war our country chooses to continue.

We have been pulling the Stone for 7 days now, but today was harder, much harder, because the weight of these additional victims of terrorism were added to the weight of the Stone. We have walked in silence and our thoughts and prayers have been with the victims and their families.

We must not let this be the excuse for more violence.

In peace and in the hope that the voices of those seeking peace will rise up as one,
