Stonewalk United Nations Day

The United Nations officially came into existence on 24 October 1945, when the Charter was ratified by China, France, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and by a majority of other signatories.
United Nations Day is celebrated on 24 October each year.

As a special commemoration to mark the contribution of conscientious objection, a Stonewalk proceeds from The Peace Abbey, Sherborn, MA to the Cambridge Friends Meeting where a memorial stone for COs will be presented. Join us for the placement of the stone at 5 PM.
